Dr Carin Ingemarsdotter
COO/CSODr Carin Ingemarsdotter is co-founder of Spliceor, and a former Borysiewicz Biomedical Sciences Fellow and former CRUK Pioneer Award holder. She is a trained Biomedical scientist and did her PhD training at the Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research (ISREC) graduating with a PhD in Life Sciences from University of Lausanne, Switzerland. For her first postdoctoral position, she joined Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, followed by a postdoctoral position in Professor Andrew Lever’s laboratory at the Department of Medicine, University of Cambridge. Her academic research has focused on biomedical innovations and therapeutic developments for HIV and cancer with experience in RNA splicing, RNA trans-splicing, viral vectors, and with more than 10 years of postdoctoral research experience in cancer.
